Writing Coach Essentials Package
Authors who have followed this plan with me have completed first-drafts of books that were already under contract with a publisher, and which they’d given up hope of finishing.
Others have written complete manuscripts to boost their impact and authority as consultants and entrepreneurs (some have chosen self-publishing, and others work with legacy publishers).
We will meet twice/month over a period of six months. Each meeting is productive, with defined working goals.
A steady pace of meetings will keep you accountable and on track to achieve
your goals.
Homework assignments between meetings are designed to give you
lasting skills.
You will write 30,000–90,000 words depending on the pace we set in your
work plan.

One of the authors I work with would often call me just after I put my kids to bed and I’d say, “Only for you would I answer the phone at this hour.” But those conversations built a relationship that we both value highly 7+ years later. (One day I might tell you exactly who inspired this plan.)

More collaboration–will you benefit from a sounding board for your book ideas, and beyond? Some authors who choose this package like to talk to me before (and after) key meetings to workshop messaging and stories related to the concepts in their book.

What I don't do
Ghostwriting. I take pride in the fact that every word of every book that comes out of my coaching is the original work of the authors. Nobody needs to fake it.
Promise fast and easy results (you can probably pick one of the two…). This does take a real commitment, but if we work together you will leverage my experience so the work pays off better.
Promise you a bestseller, or a book contract, or that you’ll make back all the money you invest in building your writing skills through this process. I’ve seen some...questionable... “bestseller guarantees” floating around online, some of which even suggest shortcuts like using OPC (Other People’s Content).
If those approaches are offensive to you -- a true expert and leader, who wants to build your profile based on your own merit -- maybe we should work together.
