Hello, my name is Robin

I want this world to be a sustainable, fair, and kind place. I've been fortunate to work with some of the world’s best thinkers and brightest leaders to define, refine, and communicate their ideas, visions, and strategies, mostly around projects that make me feel like I'm pulling in that direction.

I've been an academic publisher for nearly twenty years and by day I am a Senior Acquisitions Editor at Johns Hopkins University Press, where I am growing the world's best list in public health and health policy books. This site started with a newsletter that I created with the goal of simply helping my authors write better and navigate the publishing process more successfully. As the readership increased it became clear that I had an opportunity to help more people write more books, better.

I take immense pride in the knowledge that my authors are using their books to change the world for the better. The name for the site came from a very simple idea: you're already an expert in your own area; I want you to build the skills to write like an expert, too.
